310T Truck Mechanic
- Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Preventive maintenance services
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs
- Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
- Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Performs maintenance related work as required ◦Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures Requirements Light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program
- Works under minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of fuel, ignition, cooling, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air brake systems
Our minimum requirements:
- 310T Certifications, or proof of enrollment in Truck and Coach Program or 3rd Year Apprentice
- Vehicle driver’s license
