310T Truck Mechanic

  • Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Preventive maintenance services
  • Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs
  • Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
  • Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
  • Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Performs maintenance related work as required ◦Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures Requirements Light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of fuel, ignition, cooling, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air brake systems

Our minimum requirements:

  • 310T Certifications, or proof of enrollment in Truck and Coach Program or 3rd Year Apprentice
  • Vehicle driver’s license
